Samuel September 11, 2018 I have a Jenn Air JES8850AAB and my dual element quit working. What is the part number I need?
Desmond June 28, 2018 My Jenn Air dual heating element - The high doesn't come on but the low works. Is this just an element change or do I possibly need other parts? Is the replacement just a remove, plug, and play or is there more to it?
1 Answer Hello Desmond, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
David W August 31, 2015 for Model Number JES8850AAW My wife noticed when cooking dinner tonight that there is a very small but very bright spot on the heating element of our large dual burner (12002145) what does this mean? Is it shorting out?
1 Answer David, Yes, the "very bright spot" on the element indicates a "weak spot" in the element ribbon has developed. You will eventually need to replace the element assembly, but they have been known to operate satisfactorily for quite some time. Read More...
Al N April 15, 2014 for Model Number JES8850AAW Good morning: The inner heating element of the front, right (facing stove) burner is out. I've checked switch and switch closes (minimal resistance) when the burner is switched on. Is this (AP4009546) the correct part? I assume that this part includes the elements for both the outer and inner heating rings.
George S. May 02, 2012 for Model Number Jes8850aaq Dual burner only goes on high no matter what it is set at. I already changed the control switch.
1 Answer Hello George. If the control switch is new, and the element stays on high, then you will need to replace the element W10823710 in the unit. It sounds like the sensor is bad and it is a part of the element and the element will need to be replaced. Read More...
