This surface heating element replaces a damaged or worn top burner coil to restore cooking heat on electric ranges. It installs into the stove's cooktop receptacle and provides a reliable heating surface for pots and pans. What it does:

  • Heats cookware on the cooktop for boiling, frying and simmering
  • Restores power to a burner that no longer heats or only heats intermittently
  • Replaces elements with visible breaks, burn spots, or inconsistent temperature
  • Works with the range's burner receptacle to complete the heating circuit
What's included: One surface heating (top burner) element. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the range at the breaker or unplug before servicing.
  • Replace by lifting the cooktop or removing the element from its receptacle per your model's service instructions.
  • Ensure terminals are fully seated and secured; inspect wiring and receptacle for damage and replace if necessary.
