Chris December 28, 2013 for Model Number ARTS6650 Front-right dual-element, only outer large element works. At the element, I measured resistance between the outer and middle prongs at ~33 ohms and inner and middle prongs at ~33 ohms so the element seems to have conductivity through both circuits. What to check next?
1 Answer Chris, If the element is checking ok then the issue would be a faulty infinite switch for the unit. Read More...
Margaret November 23, 2013 for Model Number ACF4255AW I purchased part# 77001038 element: dual radiant /6 it appears that it is wired differently than the one we are replacing.

Lisa May 07, 2012 for Model Number AP4103736 (77001038) I had the same issue as Donald above. I replaced the burner myself and it looked similar enough but before only the inner ring worked and after replacement, only the outer ring works now. Did Donald get his issue resolved. I would like to return but do not know what to re-order.
1 Answer Lisa, The first thing to check is the wiring at the new element. some of the terminals on new or "substitue" elements are in a different location from the original element, and you may have the wires "crossed". Another possibility could be a faulty infinite switch or wire to the element. A model number of your range would be a great help. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
Donald February 11, 2012 for Model Number ARTSC8650E p1130650NE Front Right Burner / Dual element wasn't working correct. Had a service guy come out to fix replace. At the time before the serviceman the inner portion only worked. He ordered a new element it didn't work at all. He said there was not one available and didn't charge for the service and left. Now the Outer portion only works. He had also commented that the switch is fine. I researched by model came up with this part number replaced it. confirmed I did receive what was ordered and it doesn't work at all. What could be the issue? Do I need a new switch to match this new style element? The new element looks completely different from the old one. The new one doesn't have the fire wall looking separator that the old one had. Please any help much appreciated. - Donald
1 Answer Hi Donald. As we spoke before, the numbers on the new burner may be placed differently as the jumper may also be. Use a flashlight or a magnifying glass to see the correct wire per / no. placements. Dual element part # W10823726. Thank You. Read More...
