1 Answer Hello Angie. What you are describing sounds like the common symptom of a "defrost system issue." If the frost is even across the evaporator, then you will have to find the defective part. You will want to test the heating element for continuity 1105165. The defrost thermostat WP4387499 you should test while it's still in the freezer to make sure continuity is flowing, if it gets to room temperature it will open.
