Deb October 25, 2011 for Model Number kp26m1xce About the grease. Is part # ao3103180 the only grease I can use for those gears when I replace the transmission housing. Do I have to put new grease in at that time? My mixer is approximately 5 or 6 yrs old with heavy use; I make a lot of bread!
1 Answer Hi Deb. If you are experiencing any gear noise or slippage, then you will need to replace gears after a complete cleaning and inspection. If you just want to replace the grease, then you can order the transmission hsg, w/ gasket so it will be upgraded and not leak. Thank you. Read More...
