Charles February 06, 2019 I am looking for a splash guard for an old Maytag garbage disposal, but have had no success. This guard just fits into the neck of the disposal and does not require removal to install. The diameter is 3-3/8 in. Your part AP 6049794 appears to be that size but it is not possible to tell for sure by just looking at the grid background. Is that part the size I need? Thanks.
1 Answer Charles, the guard can vary depending on the model number of the unit. If you could provide the model number in a new inquiry, this will allow for the part in question to be the most accurately identified. Read More...
1 Answer Hello John, I'm sorry but we are not able to pull any information on Eastman garbage disposers. For this reason we are not able to pull the parts list or the part number for a satisfactory splash guard. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
Tracie M January 13, 2015 for Model Number E80-17 Hi, I have an Emerson Garbage disposal. The model # is E80-17 & the other numbers on it are, S/N KC 43618372. The house was built in 73' so I am guessing this is original. I need a replacement gasket for the very top of the disposal. Looking at one of the diagrams associated with this part it is number 12 on the diagram. I have looked at several on this site and I am not sure which one would work. Can you help me? Thanks, Tracie M
1 Answer Tracie, Unfortunately we do not have any information on emerson Garbage disposals. We would not know if this would be a standard size part that would be needed or not. Read More...
Miki H May 27, 2014 Is there a Kitchenaid disposal splash guard that simply inserts on top of the old one? My drain opening is 3.5inches
1 Answer Miki, There are no splash guards that would simply insert on top of the old one. To replace the splash guard you would have to remove the unit to get the old one off and install the new one. Read More...
Stacey H May 09, 2013 for Model Number kitchen aid garbage disposal splash guard Hi, I am renting a place that has a kitchen aid garbage disposal, and the splash guard appears to be fabric, or felt like. Is this what they were made out of originally? Is it easy to replace - because the smell is horrific, even after disinfectants and such. Thanks!
1 Answer Stacey, In order to replace the splash guard on the unit you will need to uninstall the disposal as the splash guard goes on the flange of the disposal. Read More...
