We bought a home with wooden panels that were not sized appropriately for the handles (too thick) & we have to pull on the top the door's edge (original full length handle) to open them - its a clean look, but pain when we have guests or hands full. We want to attach these handles onto the existing original full-length handles that are part of the original door. would that work?
