Marleen November 03, 2017 for Model Number mgdc215ew1 I have a warranty on my dryer-gas. The contract/certificate number is #171491560. The plastic handle on the door snapped off. I called and was told this was a cosmedic and the warranty would not cover it. The plastic handle was not added to make the dryer look better. It is a necessary part to open and close the dryer. I do not understand why I have to purchase the part, when I paid for a warranty.
