This washer drain hose routes wastewater from the drain pump to your standpipe or laundry tub. Replacing a cracked or kinked hose restores reliable draining and helps prevent leaks during the spin/drain cycle.

  • Connects the washer's drain outlet to the household standpipe or laundry tub
  • Molded bend helps position the hose correctly and reduces kinking
  • Typical symptoms: water leaking at the back or onto the floor while draining
  • Visible splits, soft spots, brittleness, or abrasion on the hose
  • Slow or incomplete draining caused by kinks or internal blockage
What's included: 1 drain hose Installation notes:
  • Disconnect power and move the washer to access the rear; shutting off water is recommended as a precaution
  • Place towels or a shallow pan to catch residual water when removing the old hose
  • Transfer and reuse existing clamps/brackets if required; fully seat and secure connections, and route the hose to avoid kinks or rubbing
  • Insert the outlet end properly into the standpipe or tub per your model's instructions, then run a quick drain/spin to check for leaks

Hello Larry. You will need to look and see where the water is coming from. There is an access panel on the back of the washer that you can remove to inspect the pump and hoses. Watch the unit when draining and see if the drain hose is leaking or running out of the drain pipe. Hope this helps.
