This pressure switch hose carries air from the washer tub to the pressure switch so the machine can sense and control water level. Replacing a damaged hose restores proper fill control and prevents level-sensing errors. What it does:

  • Channels air/vacuum from the tub to the pressure switch so the control can detect water level.
  • A cracked, pinched, or collapsed hose may cause overfilling, underfilling, failure to advance cycles, or continuous fill.
  • Restores accurate water-level sensing when replacing a worn or damaged hose.
What's included: One pressure switch hose. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid shock or injury.
  • Remove and replace the hose carefully; avoid kinks, sharp bends, or pinched routing that can impair sensing.
  • Use the factory-style connection points and clamps; ensure both ends are seated securely.
  • After installation, run a test fill or diagnostic cycle to confirm correct water-level operation and no leaks.

June, The back panel of this unit does not come off you will have to lift the main top and remove the front panel. To do this you will need a putty knife and a 5/16" ratchet or nut driver. You will use the putty knife to push a clip on either side of the unit between the top and the front panel. Once you push the spring clip lift up on the top and there will be 2 screws that you remove to remove the front panel. The only panel in the back is a small panel where the drain pump would be located.
