Monica May 11, 2016 for Model Number 11094570100 Hello. I recently received a hand me down Kenmore portable washing machine. The hose from the washing machine does not fit onto my faucet. Would this part fit the hose so that it connects to my faucet?? Also would the part attach to my faucet with no problem? Basically is it universal for the faucet? My faucet is just a plain old faucet, nothing fancy. I basically need the hose to connect to my faucet and it doesn't. I need it to fit. Thank you!

Rod December 04, 2015 for Model Number Whirlpool #DP1040XTXQ0 I bought an adapter with this same part number from Amazon for my five year old dishwasher. The adapter is a bit shorter than the one that came with the dishwasher. Is this one the original length? The one from Amazon wasn't and allowed the faucet to leak while it was running. The total length of the replacement adapter is 2 1/2 inches. The length from the adapter shoulder is 1 inch. Is the one you sell just a bit longer? Thanks for any help you can provide!

I am now changing apartments and the new faucet is different from the one i had, which had a custom made adapter.
