I looked for the # on the bottom of the knob and it says KIP5002 nothing I see on your web matches. Any suggestions? I see another one looks smaller, what do you suggest?

John S. January 14, 2012 for Model Number JED8430BDB Do they make a replacement knob (AP4100128) out of metal that will fit this model and if they do I want to buy it. The plastic knobs melt when around high heat and the plastic point that the metal and the plastic interface with each other tends to break easy under normal useage. If they don't then I will be forced to buy knobs every 4 or so years.
