Michael December 22, 2015 for Model Number 665 13619101 I bought a switch knob P/N AP3081042 for the referenced trash compactor. I was expecting the vanes to simple slip into the channel and that would be installation. The knob doesn't seem to engage - there are no old broken pieces of the original knob...is there a trick to installing it somehow? just doesn't seem like it should be complicated.
1 Answer Hello Michael. No, just align it with the flat slots and turn the knob to turn the unit on. The switch may be bad in your unit. Read More...
Roger March 06, 2015 for Model Number KCCC151EWH0 I have one in white and lost the rotary switch. Do you have it in white?
1 Answer Roger, the rotary start switch is part number 675382. Knobs are included in the kit. For the knob only use part number WP9871800. Unfortunately, the white knob is no longer available. Thanks. Read More...
J. J. December 23, 2014 for Model Number KitchenAid Model # KC0100508-1 I have a Kitchen Aid Toaster Oven (KC0100508-1) & the timer knob that mounts on a shaft with a flat side failed. It is an older model oven, but aside from the broken (unusable) knob, the unit works fine. When I called KA Customer Service, they said the model was "old" & they currently had no parts available for my model. I don't care what kind of knob is needed, as long as I can find one that fits the shaft I don't care what it's actual purpose is, AS LONG AS IT FITS! It would be a shame to throw out the unit simply because of a broken knob and using pliers on the shaft to turn it is detrimental. Do you have ANY kind of knob that would fit & bebe useable??? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello J.J. Sorry, we can only offer part numbers that the manufacturer recommends. You can try a universal kit TJKN002 if you would like to try one. But we can not verify it will fit. Read More...
Melinda R May 25, 2013 If I order the replacement knob- does it come with instructions for installation?
1 Answer Melinda, This knob appears to be the start/run knob for a trash compactor. It won't have installation instructions. When the knob is in the "OFF" position, you should be able to grasp the knob and pull it up and out of the control panel, and off the switch. Read More...
