Mark R June 01, 2016 Does the knob come with the plastic sleeve that slides onto the metal stem piece that controls the gas. My existing knob is fine but the plastic sleeve that goes in the hole of knob that slips over the metal stem on the gas controller is what I need.

Paul February 06, 2014 I can't see the shape where the knob attaches to the stovetop control. What shape is it? I have a Whirlpool, but do not know the model #. The knob attachment, I would call it rectangular.
