Veronica G. September 20, 2012 for Model Number MDG7600AWW My friend gave me her old Gas Maytag Dryer. The gas valve doesn't match the metal coil attached to the wall gas line. Where can I get that metal coil to fit into the dryers' gas valve? Or should I change the gas valve of the dryer to match the metal coil?
1 Answer Hello Veronica, The gas supply flex line 20-3132-48 comes with the correct size connectors unless the gas connection was modified for the old installation. I would do whatever has to be done to the gas supply line. This will keep the dryer connection standardized for the dryer.
