David February 01, 2018 for Model Number AEW3530DDW Temperature goes at least 100 degrees higher then set. Would it be the electronic control board or the front panel? I swapped the entire front panel assemble with another oven and it followed this assembly. Electronic control board is WP74008878 Front control panel is 5765M468-60.
1 Answer David, You will want to check the oven sensor and make sure that it is good. The resistance should be 1090 ohms at room temp and at 350 should be 1654. You will want to test it at both settings to ensure that it is good. If it is good then the issue will be a faulty control board. Read More...
Randy December 26, 2017 for Model Number Amana AEW3530DDS The timer, clock, and three digits are no longer functional on the oven keypad. All other oven functions are working. I see that others have had similar problems and the suggested path was to replace the control panel for this model. Is that still the recommendation? Also, does the control panel come with the brushed stainless steel finish as is the OEM part?
1 Answer Randy, The control panel 5765M468-60 will be the most likely cause for this issue and it does come in stainless. Read More...
Graham November 21, 2016 for Model Number Whirlpool Amana AEW3530DDS Good afternoon. A couple of the numbers on the controls panel of my wall oven stopped working a few weeks ago. The "4" is out, which is particularly problematic for pizza making!! I'm going to tinker with the control panel tonight to make sure I can't resurrect it. Trying to figure out whether a replacement exists. Is AP4420241 (which is out of stock and discontinued) the only option?
1 Answer Graham, The part number that you would most likely need would be the control panel which is part number 5765M468-60. It appears that the manufacturer has stopped making the stainless panel but the black one is still available. Read More...
