Marcy March 21, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore Disherwasher #665.15765690 Replaced the timer, but nothing else happens. Pumps water at the start. The timer keeps on running, but nothing else happens.
1 Answer Marcy, it would be recommended that the motor W10428773 is tested for 120VAC during the wash cycle. If the motor is receiving 120VAC, and it is not operating, then it will need to be replaced. If the motor is not receiving 120VAC, and there is not a broken wire, then the timer WP3378579 would need to be replaced. Read More...
Dave November 15, 2014 for Model Number KUDS24SEAL1 I installed the new W10428773 motor/pump kit. In a repair video, I noted you should move the counterbalance weight to the new motor. However, there does not seem to be a hole to receive it. Is it ok to just leave the counterweight off?
1 Answer Dave, If there is no place on the new pump and motor assembly to install the weight then it would not hurt anything to leave it off. Read More...
Jim A. June 01, 2014 for Model Number kuds24sewho Pump shaft jammed. I turned the impeller and freed it. Now it is making noise unlike before. Like metal rubbing on metal, though, not severe. Can the seal and or bushing be replaced? or, do I have to replace the entire pump/motor module. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jim, You should replace the entire assembly W10428773 since this initial symptom is normally caused by the seal sticking to the motor shaft. This will actually cause the unit to put water in the floor. Read More...
Jim G November 21, 2012 for Model Number Kitchen aid Dishwasher KUDV24SEBL4 I just receiv4d a replacement pump/motor for my dishwasher . Invoice # 2941504 part # AP5305919 (W10428773) The old pump had the wiring "hard wired" into the motor with a plug on the other end . The new part which I was told was OEM and totally interchangeable, needs a short 4 cable wiring harness with a plug on each end. I need that wiring harness otherwise the pump is useless. I don't mind purchasing it but your customer service could not find it. You can see what I am talking about by looking on your website at the picture of a similar pump motor part # AP5306182 (W10428168). I either need the harness or another pump motor that will work Thank you Jim Gill
1 Answer Jim, You will need to order 8271507 motor harness adapter. This is one of those "unlisted" parts, that may or may not be needed, It is almost impossible to find under normal circumstances. Thanks Read More...
Smith September 21, 2011 for Model Number 66516522000 I have had water leak from the bottom corners of the door in the past. I replaced the tank deflectors and that resolved it. Now I have water leaking from the bottom center of the door. What part do I need?
1 Answer Hello Smith. Remove the inner door liner and see if the unit is leaking inside the door around the dispenser. If so, you will need to replace the dispenser assembly WP8052027. Hope this helps. Read More...
