The Rear Leveling Leg is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. It provides support and adjustment capability to compensate for uneven surfaces or flooring. By adjusting the height of the rear leveling leg, you can achieve a balanced and stable position for your appliance.

Causes of a faulty or damaged rear leveling leg can include regular use, accidental impact, or wear and tear. A damaged leveling leg can lead to an unstable appliance, increased vibrations, or difficulty in maintaining a level position.

Symptoms of a bad rear leveling leg may include:

  • Appliance wobbling or rocking during operation
  • Uneven distribution of weight
  • Difficulty in aligning the appliance with adjacent units or countertops

This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.

Kevin for Model Number 38EZG048300

Need either written instructions or video on servicing a Carrier Model A/C Unit at my home as well as how to use a 1.8 lb canister of R-410A Refrigerant, which is what is called for to service it. This canister has one gauge and one hose with a fitting. The A/C Unit MODEL#38EZG048300 It has two service points on the bottom of the unit which are approximately the size of air valve on a bike inner tube, one of the service points is connected to an hose approximately 1/2" in diameter and the other is connected to a smaller hose approximately 5/16" in diameter and is connected to a small canister approximately half the size of of small can. My question is: WHICH ONE THESE SERVICE POINTS DO I CONNECT THE R-410A TO IN ORDER FOR THE REGRIGERANT TO GO INTO THE A/C UNIT?

Linda, If the springs and legs check ok then you will want to check the pads on the skate plate WP3946509 for uneven wear. This is the most likely cause of the unit getting off balance.

Hello Don, The rear legs should "flop" back and forth when the machine is tilted forward so the weight is off of them. If they do not "reset" to the centered position, you can bump them with a heavy item such as a wrench or hammer and they should free up. The mechanism can be sprayed with a spray lubricant to keep them freed up. When the weight is lowered back onto them they will automatically set to level. Be aware that level in this case is not bubble level, but the state where equal distribution of the machines' weight is on each of the four feet, (so no "rocking" can take place).
