Ben T January 26, 2018 for Model Number WFG231LVQ0 Burner flames are all low. water will not boil. Heavy black build up above oven burners. Tried to adjust stove burner Flames. they all stay low. I recently changed my boiler for heat. I had a service tech here. he checked pressure to the boiler. I believe the pressure to the stove should be good as well?
1 Answer Ben, For this issue you will want to make sure that if the unit is on Lp gas that the unit is set for LP. Make sure that the orifices were changed and that the air shutters are open fully and the regulator being changed to LP. This would be the most likely cause for this issue. Read More...
Georgia September 02, 2014 for Model Number MGR5755Qdw Stove top burners (both front) ignite and there is flame, but they only go to half flame height, whether it is on medium or high. They only reach medium flame height. I have cleaned the top and vacuumed it out. Could it be a regulator or what is stopping flame from reaching the proper height? There doesn't seem to be any blockage anywhere.
1 Answer Hello Georgia, This is more likely to be valve issues since the regulator would affect the other burners and the bake compartment. Read More...
George F March 05, 2014 for Model Number FGP305KW5 When I first turned on the burner on the range top there was a blue flame from the lowest setting to the highest. After less than 30 minutes the flame turns orange and yellow. All of the burners do the same. Is this the regulator failing? This just started happening yesterday.
1 Answer Hello George. Yes, either the gas is low or the regulator is failing on the unit. Read More...
Ryan July 30, 2013 for Model Number wfg114svqo The stove top burners work great but the oven has no odor of gas and no flame or heat at all. What is the cause?
1 Answer Hello Ryan. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
