Jody, There would not be a tub ring on a front load washer. If there is damage to the front of the outer tub then the front tub assembly would need to be replaced.

Karen, The W10213410 Tub Ring will contain the tub cover and dispenser solenoid, as well as instructions to properly install and wire the assembly(if necessary). You will need to consider a new dispenser hose WP3948705 for the bleach dispenser, and possibly a new tub cover seal WP3976308 to insure yourself of a leak free repair and usage.

Ellery, To replace the tub ring, on the back of the control panel are 2 screws on the lower outer trim, loosen the screws and lift the bottom of the control panel from the front and roll it up. Once you do this there will be 2 clips holding the back to the cabinet. Once the clips are removed then you can take the cabinet off and expose the tub. The tub ring has clips at the bottom of it that you will release to pull the ring off and put back on.
