Michael M January 03, 2012 for Model Number mdg4000bwq Would a poorly fitting blower seal (Seal, Blower, Part Number: AP4043965) have a similar effect to having a clogged exhaust line in that the dryer spins, heats and blows but doesn't dry clothes well? The exhaust line is free and clear.

1 Answer Hello Tommy. When you remove the front of the dryer and remove the air duct assembly, the old seal pulls off and the new one slips on. There are tabs on the rubber seal that goes into the slots. Hope this helps. Read More...
