Dave On Livermore March 25, 2011 for Model Number JDB1100AWB Door leaked first time I used it after install. I removed the seal, soaked in hot water again, reinstalled lightly to allow the door closing to push it into the track. It still leaks a little bit from the top when the water from the top sprayer comes around. Is this part out of spec? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
1 Answer Dave, acuple of things to check, Carefully remove the seal and check and tighten the phillips head screws all the way around the tub and reinstall the gasket, Check the inner dor liner for stright edges with a "straight edge", make sure the door is not bowed out more than an1/8 inch. check the upper spray arm for debris in the wash jet openings. You should also tighten to door catch on the tub(slightly) you'll need a 5/16 in. socket or nut driver, slightly loosen the screw in the opening, in the top frame of the tub interior, and tap the catch assembly in,slightly.
