Peter February 10, 2016 for Model Number KECS100GSS02 My stove trun off all element switches, but indictor light stays on. Can you help me how can fix?
1 Answer Hello Peter, You will need to determine which switch is send power out of the P terminal when the switch is turned to off. Then replace that switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Sean July 25, 2015 for Model Number RS675PXGT10 Hello, I just bought an infinite switch (part 3191473) for the 8" burner on my Whirlpool drop-in range (RS675PXGT10). In taking off the cooktop, I noticed that both 8" burners were installed with an infinite switch marked 3191471 (blue dot) and both 6" burners were installed with an infinite switch marked 3191743 (red dot). Does that mean that the infinite switches on my range were installed backwards to begin with? Part 3191473 is definitely for the bigger burners, correct? Thanks for clarifying.
1 Answer Hello Sean. The red shaft WP3191473 is for the 8" burners and the blue shaft WP3191471 is for the 6" burners according to the manufacturers. Read More...
