Jody July 20, 2019 for Model Number KSSS42MDX05 I purchased a trim shelf for the freezer door, and like another person in the Q&A section...it does not look like it fits at all. The holes on the door are way too small to install the shelf trim. And I tried what was suggested and still no luck. Do I really have the correct part?
1 Answer Jody, the trim shelf WP2003128 is correct for your model. Installation can be a bit snug with a new part, but the trim is installed by sliding the top in at an angle, lifting up as far as it can go, and rotating the bottom in while lifting up to lock it into place. Read More...
Scott September 11, 2015 Are the end caps for this piece available as a separate item? I don't need the whole piece, just replacement end caps.
1 Answer Scott, Unfortunately the endcaps are not available as a separate part for this shelf trim WP2003128. Read More...
Marc D February 17, 2014 for Model Number Kitchenaid Superba KSS42QDW05 / Part #2003128 I ordered and received a replacement freezer door bin. Although it appears to be the correct part, the clips that hold the bin to the freezer door are too large to fit through the slots ... it almost appears like I need to snap off to tops of the clips on both sides to fit in the slots on the door? Does that sound correct? Thanks! Marc
1 Answer Marc, The clips do not get cut off. This shelf if you put the upper part in first then lift as high as it will go and then pop the lower part in place. Read More...
