Marcey S. April 21, 2011 for Model Number mer7765wb I just bought a maytag 30 inch smooth top electric stove. I noticed that the glass on the front of the oven is pushed back behind the clips on the trim on the bottom door part number ap3176192. Looks like it should seat into the clips, but it is behind the clips. Looks like the glass is bowed back and the strip is bowed out. Is this the way it is supposed to be? Thanks Marcey
1 Answer Hello Marcey. The glass should be in front of the clips in the channel. You will have to remove the door from the stove, to remove the trim piece. Once removed, you can seat the glass properly. Hope this helps. Read More...
