Jennifer August 24, 2015 for Model Number Maytag QuietSeries 300 The Silestone quartz countertop area above my dishwasher is getting very warm when running the dishwasher. Extreme heat can cause these countertops to crack and/or discolor over time so I am looking for a way to reduce the heat. My dishwasher already has an insulator blanket. What else can I do? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jennifer. There is no way of reducing the heat on these models if you do not have a no heat option. You would need to find a dishwasher that has the no heat option. Read More...

Sam November 22, 2013 for Model Number MDBH965AWB0 The original insulation for my dishwasher was grey - is this one still compatible? I didn't find my exact model number in your database - mine definitely has a 0 or O after the -AWB.

Deb October 17, 2013 for Model Number Amana ADB1100AWWQ My dishwasher doesn't appear to have an insulation blanket. I would like it to be insulated. Is there a reason, ie fire hazard, etc, why I shouldn't put insulation around it? Secondly, since this "part" doesn't exist for my model can I use one from another brand and make it fit? Are the tubs similar in dimensions?
1 Answer Hello Deb. If there is room within the counter space, you can add a blanket. It is mainly used to reduce sound in the unit. Read More...
Tina September 11, 2013 for Model Number DU1300XTVB3 I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher. The plumber threw away the insulation blanket when he installed the dishwasher (incorrectly) and when we had someone else pull it out to install it correctly we noticed the blanket was missing. Which insulation blanket will fit? I am having a difficult time finding the right one to purchase.
Richard Y April 08, 2012 for Model Number DWC8330AAW My dishwasher doesn't use the detergent pack that I put in and the dishes show it. Please tell me why? THANK YOU; Mr. Young
1 Answer Richard, A few things to check first. Make sure the water in the bottom of the tub is at least 120 dgrs.F. on the first fill of a wash cycle. Make sure the water level in the bottom of the tub is as high as the heater element,at least, after a fill and 3 to 5 minute wash. Review the loadinfg instructions of your User's Guide, make sure you're not blocking the detergent cup, so it opens proper and water can wash over the packet, and wash out the contents into the tub. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
