Hello Ronnie. The float is located inside the dishwasher tub assembly in the bottom of the unit. You will need to remove the lower rack to access and check the float.

Hello Red, Of course, You need to check that the drain line is suspended up to counter top height before connecting to the sink drain. If it goes down through the floor, it has to have a siphon break installed to operate properly. This pump also has a check ball that can either stick because of food residue or mis-assembly. If you have not had the unit torn down to this point, the use of dishwasher magic TJ104 or white vinegar should be used to cleanse the internal parts for the check balls sake. If these things check out okay, it is most likely a stuck set of contacts in the timer 3370249.

Hello Mike. Check the wires and make sure they are good on the unit. If so, and no power comes to the water valve, you have a bad timer on the unit. The timer has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.

Hello. Yes, it recieves power from the timer/board on the dishwasher. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1 to see if there is power coming to the valve. Hope this helps.
