For Whirlpool Water Inlet Valve (Part Number: OEM18018876)

Dan for Model Number LSE7806ACE

Hi I have problem about water keeps filling and does not stop. 1. My model number is LSE7806ACE 2. When it reached a certain level, it stats agitating, but water still keeps filling. 3. I disconnected the tube to the pressure sensor, and connected an another tube. I the used my mouth to blow. Water does not stop! I guess pressure sensor is good. 4. I tried replacing water inlet, still the same. I guess water inlet is good. 5. I unplugged the connectors to the water inlet, water stoped. I measured the voltage between the lead, it read 120 V, [both before agitating (meaning filling water. It should be 120 V) AND after agitating started (supposedly ZERO voltage, if I am right so that water be cut off, but it is 120V)]. 6. Does timer controls voltage to the water inlet? 7. What else should I try? Thank you so much

Hello Dan, usually, for this problem, you would replace the water level sensor 12002304, and the airline hose (220016160) however the hose is no longer available. The airline tube has to be airtight from the tub to the level sensor is to ensure the water level is correct as read by the level sensor. If you blow (gently) into the sensor and the water kept filing it is faulty.

Dan, You will want to check the inlet screen on the hot water connection to make sure that it is not plugged up. If it is then you will want to clean out the debris. If the problem persist then the valve part number will be 205613.

Allen, With the lights on the refrigerator side not working and the display not working, this would be cause by a main control board issue. The main control board is located next to the compressor in a box. The part number for the control board is WPW10135090 and would need to be replaced.

M, You will want to check the screen on the cold water valve for debris build up. Pull the hose off and look inside the valve to check this and if it has debris in it then clean it out.

Allen, If the dryer turns on and gets hot but is not venting out then check the blower wheel and check the vent from the blower wheel to the outside of the home for restrictions or blockage.
