Hello L. WP61005273 is the valve and D7824706Q is the icemaker. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Rich, When the icemaker cycles and gets to the fill part, which is at about the 11:30 position of the fingers, there should be 120 vac to the water valve. If there is not then the issue will be with the icemaker. If there is 120 vac then the water valve is faulty.

Arp, Dripping water from the fill tube is usually due to a failing fill valve, so replacing the valve WP61005273 will solve that issue. It will probably solve the no fill / ice cubes situation as well. Just remember to "flush" the water supply line and system before you attach the water line to the new fill valve.

Hello Greg. Pull out the unit and disconnect the power. Then turn off the water. Remove the water lines from the old valve. Next remove the screw securing the valve to the cabinet and remove the valve. Unplug the harness going to the valve. Install the new valve in reverse order.

Hello Sharon. Check and see if the icemaker is overfilling. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If it is not overfilling, you will need to order and replace the icemaker on the unit. The valve is located on the back of the unit where the waterline connects to the unit.
