The Drain Pump is an OEM replacement part for Bosch dishwashers. It is responsible for pumping out dirty water from the dishwasher tub at the end of each cycle. The drain pump works to thoroughly empty the tub in a timely manner to facilitate a smooth transition to the next cycle.  

Causes of a bad drain pump can include a clogged impeller or blockage of debris inside the pump housing that inhibits proper water flow. 

Symptoms of a bad drain pump include:

• Incomplete draining of water at the end of cycles 
• Water remaining or pooling at the bottom of the tub
• Loud grinding or clicking noises emanating from the pump area
• Cycles failing to advance or resume properly

The Circulation Pump and Motor Assembly is an OEM component specifically designed for Bosch dishwashers. This assembly combines a circulation pump and motor to drive water flow through critical wash cycles. 

Symptoms of a bad circulation pump and motor assembly include:

• Inadequate or inconsistent water flow during washing and rinsing cycles
• Loud or grinding noises coming from the circulation pump motor
• Lengthened cycle times due to reduced water pressures 

Over time, pump impellers and motor components can degrade, leading to diminished performance. If your Bosch dishwasher exhibits any of the above issues, replacing the circulation pump and motor assembly with this OEM part is recommended.
