Jenn-Air Oven W100 Element will not heat

This bake element is the lower heating element in an electric oven. It produces the heat for Bake mode so the oven can reach and maintain set temperature for even, reliable cooking performance.

• Supplies radiant heat from the bottom of the oven during Bake
• Restores proper heating when the original element is burned out or damaged
• Common symptoms include no heat in Bake, slow preheating, uneven baking, or visible blisters/cracks on the element
• Helps the oven reach and hold set temperatures again

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely
• Remove oven racks; take out the element's mounting screws from inside the oven cavity
• Gently pull the element forward and move the two wires to the new element one at a time, supporting wires so they don't slip back
• Reinstall the element and screws, restore power, and test Bake
