How to Replace Pressure Washer Chemical Injection Kit
- Shut off water supply. Turn off the water to the pressure washer to relieve system pressure before disconnecting any fittings.
- Disconnect tubes. Remove the tubing connecting the existing injector to the pump and nozzle. May require pliers to loosen clamps.
- Remove injector. Unthread the injector from the water line. Some models use locking clips instead of threads that need to be removed.
- Install new injector. Apply thread sealant if needed and install a new injector into the water line opening. Replace any locking clips.
- Connect tubes. Use the provided tubing to reconnect the new injector to the pump outlet and nozzle water inlet. Secure with clamps.
- Prime chemical tube. Place the chemical suction tube into a container and prime the tube by squeezing the injector a few times.
- Adjust ratio. Turn the chemical adjustment knob to set the desired chemical-to-water dilution ratio.
- Restore water supply. Turn the water back on and check all connections for leaks before applying pressure.
- Test operation. Operate washer and spray nozzle to verify proper chemical injection. Adjust as needed.
