Matt L Wauseon , OH September 23, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WA48H7400AW/A2-0000 Clutch assembly (part# ap5799983) was broke on my samsung washer wa48h7400aw/a2 Washer was making terrible grinding noise while trying to wash or spin and finally quit working. Repair center tech on the phone after some nagging stated it sounds like the clutch is bad. This washer was only 4 months out of warranty, and I got a $450+ repair estimate. That is more than half the cost of a new washer so that was not a option for me. Watch the video on Appliance Pro's on how to replace the clutch assembly in a Samsung washer. Washer used in their video is not the same as my model, and the clutch assembly is completely different but it got me close enough. My clutch assembly takes a little more disassembly of components off the washer to get it out, but it was not bad. . I took my time, took pictures with my phone of different dis-assembly steps so I could reference them for re-assembly. I ordered the clutch at noon on a Friday and by 1:30pm that day it was on a Fed-Ex truck with a tracking number, and in my town that next morning with just regular shipping. Very please with the transaction. Thanks for the help A-Pro's and keep the repair video's coming! Jeff B Lancaster , OH October 30, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Washer WA50F9A8DSW/A2-0001 Samsung washer: the main shaft that holds the large nut which bolts the inside of the tub broke Had to buy the complete Clutch Assembly kit. Install would have been easier if I would have waited until the repair part arrived. I did more work than necessary. But the part went in fine and every thing lined up. The only problem I had is when I reinstalled the Pulsator Plate, The bottom of It was hitting on the large nut. ( Believe me, It was torqued down tight with an impact gun.) I had to place two washers under it to raise it up so it wouldn't hit. I don't remember taking any washers off when I disassembled it. So far so good. Appliance pro's sent the correct part and I had it overnight! Would highly recommend.
