Michael S Tustin , CA July 06, 2018 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RF32FMQDBSR/AA-0000 The upper refrigerator door gaskets were falling apart on my Samsung french door refrigerator after 5 years. I ordered the gaskets from AppliancePartProscom. Why? They are price competitive. And only $6.95 For shipping. The right upper French door gasket took about 2 minutes to install. I used my fingers to push the gasket into the groove of the door. Make sure the gasket is fully seated in the groove in the door. If you don’t, you’ll have an air leak into the refrigerator.. The upper left door took a little longer. The left door baffle has two screws in the middle that need to be removed. The baffle needs to slide up to remove it from the door. Disconnect the door open sensor connector. Press down on the connector and then pull apart. (I found a video on YouTube if you need more). The difficult part is to get the gasket to go fully in the slot of the door. Don’t use a screwdriver. A spudger (a non-metallic installation aid) would work better to push the raised part of the gasket into the groove of the door. Make sure the gasket is fully inserted in the groove of the door. Reinstall the baffle and check for that the door seals fully at the top of the refrigerator. Check again that the gasket is fully seated. Read More...
