This ignition electrode is the oven/range spark element that provides the spark used to light the burner or bake igniter assembly. It replaces a worn or damaged electrode to restore reliable ignition. What it does:
- Conducts the high-voltage spark to the burner area so gas can ignite
- Helps stop repeated clicking or continuous sparking when broken or cracked
- Commonly replaced when a burner or oven fails to light or sparks are weak
- Works with the appliance's ignition module and gas valve to start the flame
What's included:
- One ignition electrode (inside)
Install notes:
