Detergent Hose & Filter
Genuine Generac part
By: Generac
Part Number: 0J5710

This is an authentic Karcher replacement hose designed for high-pressure washers. This hose transports soap from the detergent tank and carries it to the manifold assembly. A filter is built into the hose to prevent contaminants that might enter into the manifold from backing into the soap container. High-pressure hoses are extremely durable. However, they experience more wear, jostling, and stretching than any other part of the pressure washer. As a result, they occasionally need to be replaced. One symptom that the filter is no longer functioning to watch for is dark clouding in the soap. If soap appears on the exterior of the washer manifold or pure water only jets from the pressure nozzle, this is another sign that the hose needs to be replaced. To preserve the hose, soap tank, and internal workings of the pressure washer, it is essential never to use bleach in the detergent tank. Bleach is a highly corrosive material that will quickly ruin the washer. The high-pressure spray will also fill the air with droplets of bleach, which is a hazardous chemical to inhale. This hose is designed to fit more than a dozen pressure washers. It is an OEM certified part, manufactured to the exact specifications of the original hose. Part sold individually.

Generac M6 Screw
Genuine Generac part
By: Generac
Part Number: 0K0100

This is an M6 G8.8 screw that has been tempered for added strength. It is made of carbon steel and is ideal for use in lawn mower engines and other pieces of equipment. It measures 28 millimeters in length with an outside diameter of six millimeters. This Generac replacement screw can be used in any application where an M6 1.0 x 28 is required as a replacement for a broken or stripped screw. Routine maintenance may reveal missing or damaged screws that need to be replaced. Removal and replacement are simple. This M6 screw requires a hex wrench for removal. If the screw is in a difficult location, a socket with a hex wrench can be used. Install the new screw and tighten firmly but not overly tight as this can strip the threads. This M6 1.0 x 28 G8.8 screw is an individually sold Generac part. It is used in lawn mowers, lawn tractors, weed eaters, and other pieces of equipment that require heavy-duty screws for assembly.

Ignition Coil
Genuine Generac part
By: Generac
Part Number: 0G84420150

This is a genuine OEM ignition coil replacement sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is used in generators to power the engine. If the ignition coil is not working, the generator will not start. This can be a huge problem if the power goes out and the generator is needed. Periodic testing of the ignition to ensure that it is working properly will reveal any repairs that need to be addressed. An ignition tester can be used to check the system. Note that Generac generators normally have two ignition coils; best practices suggest replacing both at the same time for consistency. Normal wear and tear to the ignition coil can lead to failure, or the unit could simply have a bad part. Regardless, if the coil is not working, it needs to be replaced. To access the ignition coil, first, remove the spark plug leads. Locate the ignition coils and test them before removing them. If damaged or not working, remove the coil or coils from the unit. Install the new ignition coil or coils. Reinstall all parts and the spark plug. Test the ignition. This ignition coil is made of heavy-duty rubber and metal. It is sold as an individual unit. The ignition coil is designed specifically for Generac generators.

Capacitor
Genuine Generac part
By: Generac
Part Number: 0G5958

This capacitor is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on generators. It regulates voltage and send volts to the rotor. If the generator has a lower than normal voltage reading or the generator's output is up and down, causing the output of power to surge and decrease, the capacitor should be removed and replaced. Use a voltage meter to check the capacitor to determine how much of a charge it is carrying. The capacitor needs to be discharged before it is removed and replaced to prevent electric shock. Always wear safety gloves when working on equipment. Disconnect the generator from all power sources and disconnect anything that is drawing power from the generator. Use a brand new insulated screwdriver to discharge the capacitor. Hold the capacitor in one hand and touch the screwdriver against both tips at the same time. The electricity will discharge. After the capacitor is discharged, unplug it from the generator. Install the new capacitor and make the necessary wire connections. Reconnect any items that were previously connected and test the generator. This capacitor is sold as an individual unit. It is specifically designed for generators manufactured by Generac.
