I checked on line for possible issues and it came back to the PTC relay overload assembly. I ordered one and verified with the technician if the instructions for wiring it up to an older model is addressed. He sent me a copy of the instructions and it covered everything. The part came in a about three days and I had it wired up in about 30 minutes with no issues. It's been running like a champ. Read more
First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more

Use the website to diagnose potential problems. The two most-likely fixes were a new heater element and a new thermostat. I was hesitant to try the repair, but the online video was so excellent that I decided to do the repair myself. I ordered the parts and they showed up the next afternoon! I found the correct part on the website that I needed very easily and received it within two days with only regular shipping. The email I received letting me know that my parts were on the way also included a YouTube link that showed me exactly how to remove the broken part and install the new part. Total installation time was about 20 minutes from start to finish. Read more
