Replace all hoses, cleaned filter and all elbows/inlet ports The repair could have been much quicker had all ( squeeze ) hose clamps be facing toward the front of the machine. Suggest checking and cleaning all elbows and external drain hose for gunk before buying any replacement parts. Read more

Removed washer faceplate and located harness connected to motor. Saw that two of the wires had been displaced from the harness, probably from all the drum movement over the past 8 years. Tilted washer backward, supported with jack stands, removed 2 screws holding toe panel. There's a 4" PVC cap, which is actually the drain filter, unscrewed it and removed 2 years worth of garbage.
