Dryer won't stop at end of cycle or buzzer stopped working? This signal switch controls end-of-cycle alerts and timer shutoff. Takes about 30 minutes to replace.
Replaced the signal switch and it fixed the problem. The signal switch also sends a signal to the motor driving the timer switch to turn off at end of cycle. My signal switch was defective; upon replacement dryer now works fine. The part costs were 45 dollars and time to replace was about 30 min.
