Replaced the burner, pan, ceramic block and the control. The control was the problem replacing it. 1.) control did NOT match the "B" type with regard to connection placement on the instruction sheet. 2.) The Instruction sheet was dated 1988! How about a revised sheet with the CORRECT diagram of the back of the control. 3.) H1 connection is actually 2 pins. Which is confusing in the least and can contribute to mis connections of H1 and H2 which causes a short circuit and trips the breaker!... Read more
Had to order 2 different parts; One was perfect fit, other had to modify. Read more
GE did away with the original switch and made a poor quality replacement switch with plastic adapters.The adapters break off very easy so had to replace with new switch and plastic adapter. The adapters should be available separately. Very bad design idea on Ge's. part Read more
