When a mower doesn't start easily or performs poorly when running, the fuel delivery system may have a problem and will need repair. The fuel line that supplies gas from the tank to the carburetor may be cracked or broken. When this occurs, it is best to replace the fuel line before it becomes a flammable hazard. This is an OEM replacement fuel line sourced from the manufacturer and is sold individually. This replacement part is compatible with different Briggs & Stratton mowers. Remember to use work gloves and drain the gas tank before the installation of this part.

This is a genuine replacement fuel line for use with Briggs & Stratton engines. This part is responsible for carrying the fuel from the tank to the fuel pump. The fuel line is attached to both the tank and carburetor using special clamps which hold it tight while making a water-tight seal. The clamps are included. The fuel pump is made of high-grade rubber, however, if left out in the weather, it will begin to break down, causing fuel to leak. Exposure to the elements is the most common cause of damage to this part.Replacing the fuel line is simple. Before replacing, ensure the fuel has been removed from the tank, or prepare a container to receive the fuel one the old line is removed from the tank. Using a clamp tool, release the clamp holding the fuel line and slide it from the fuel tank, and then do the same thing on the other end. When installing the new line, slide the clamps onto the line before placing on the mower. Then, using the clamp tool, slide the clamps into place. This fuel line is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is compatible with many Briggs & Stratton models and is sold individually.
