I ordered a new soap dispenser and began a new venture in repairing my dishwasher. I turned off the breaker that suppled power to the unit. I removed all the T-15 torx screws from the inside cover except one, which my wife helped me hold in. This prevents the cover from dropping off. Bought the suspected part from ApplicancePartsPros.Com, found a Youtube on the dishwasher replacement of the control panel. Oops - dropped a screw into drain so had to open that with a Youtube video showing how, removed the screw, replaced the control panel. It seems to work.
