Burner cap that sits on top of the range burner head. Replace if your original cap is cracked, chipped, discolored, or missing for proper flame distribution.
I removed the bottom drawer, took the two screws out of the bottom of the drawer, slid the top of the stainless steel panel up behind the pull handle trim. ( which I also replaced with a part from appliance parts pros just last year) And installed the bottom trim to keep the panel tightly in place. Reinstalled the bottom drawer. Read more

This was a pretty easy repair, but it's great to be able to look over the parts diagrams to order the parts, and read the comments, questions, answers and suggestions of other people.
