The repair itself was straight forward as others have said. Remove back panel, raise stove top to access srews, then remove side panels ( outer and inner ). Voila the hinges are right there. Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new.
