This light box is the interior lamp housing that secures the refrigerator light and helps direct illumination inside the compartment for better visibility. It replaces cracked, broken or yellowed housings to restore safe mounting for the lamp. What it does:

• Holds and protects the interior light socket and bulb assembly
• Directs and diffuses light for even interior illumination
• Prevents loose or exposed wiring near the lamp area
• Addresses symptoms like a cracked or missing housing, rattling near the light, or reduced/diffuse lighting due to a damaged cover

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any work
• Usually removes with a screwdriver or by releasing plastic tabs—keep track of fasteners
• Avoid touching the bulb with bare hands; replace bulb if damaged

Replace a worn, cracked, or missing grommet in your range. This rubber bushing protects and cushions components, preventing vibration and wear.
