Replacement clock/timer assembly that restores oven/range digital clock, timer and delayed-start functions. Replaces a failed front-control clock so you can use timed bake, delay start and audible timer alerts. What it does:
Ordered the part, it came fast which was nice. Hubby put it in a minute or so. Only complaint I have is that the timer is so much quieter than the original one it might be easy to miss with any noise going on, but I know that's not your doing. Thanks! Much better than a new oven, which have increased so much in price this was a great fix. Read more
This is a genuine lock nut replacement. This is a general piece of hardware that is often used on several types of lawn and garden equipment, including in engines, housing, and other areas. The exact application of this part will vary based on the unit. The lock nut is used to create a more secure seal than a standard nut. When properly secured, the lock nut tightens to a bolt and uses an extra locking washer with teeth to ensure a snug fit.If lock washers do get damaged or lost, they need to be replaced immediately with a genuine OEM replacement. This model is compatible with all types of machines and units since it is a generic part. The washer is sold as an individual part and manufactured by Whirlpool. Lock nuts will need to be installed using a socket wrench or adjustable wrench. Pliers, a screwdriver, or another socket wrench will be needed to hold the bolt while the lock nut is being secured in place. Be sure to thread the lock nut carefully to ensure a strong seal and avoid stripping the bolt or the nut.

This control valve is an important safety feature found on many gas ranges. It's located inside the back of the range near the area where the buttons and controls are found. The reason the control valve is included in ovens is to prevent gas from moving to the burners if the igniter is not able to ignite the gas or there is no electricity. The control valve could be faulty if there is a smell of gas near the valve, the burner flame flickers, or the flame cannot be turned on high.In any of these situations, the control valve must be replaced. The repair is easy and takes only a few minutes. The bottom of the oven will need to be removed, which may require a screwdriver. After removing it, remove the flame spreader by taking out two screws and sliding it out of the oven. Remove the screw holding the oven burner tube and take it out to access the valve and replace it.This control valve is made to be compatible with RCA, Kenmore, Roper, General Electric, and Hotpoint ranges. It's sold as an individual OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer.

This preset conversion regulator controls gas pressure for safe, reliable burner operation after a fuel-type conversion. It helps maintain consistent flame height and prevents over- or under-pressurization for stable cooking performance. What it does
I replaced the Gas Pressure Regulator. I had no previous experience replacing one. So as a novice I immediately ran into a problem with removing the old one. Had to bend a metal flange that was holding it in place, just to get it out. Suffice it to say that it wasn't easy getting it out. But, finally did, then had to remove the gas piping that connected it to old regulator to be used with the new one. Which required me to use a vise because it was on extremely tight. Luckily I had one... Read more

My son-in-law helped me. He pulled the liner open enough that he could see he just had to tighten up the existing screw on the door handle.. For the liner, we put a new screw in each side and tighted it up. At first we were afraid it was in the hole the screw went into but finally got it to screw in tightly. Back in business!!! Read more
