This throttle cable is made for string trimmers and hedge trimmers. The part is designed to link the throttle trigger with the carburetor to ensure the equipment runs smoothly at all times. The small connectors on the end of the throttle cable can break or become brittle through time and use. Throttle cables can also kink or become damaged in other ways and will need to be replaced. If there is damage to the throttle cable, it will need to be removed for the replacement process. This can be done by pulling the two sides of the throttle parting apart from each other. The throttle trigger can be removed as well as the back cover. Once that's complete, the throttle cable can be taken out. Pass the new cable through the hole in the carburetor mounting plate and the engine housing. Reassembly before use. This throttle cable is sold as an individual component. It is a genuine OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer. The cable is made to fit string trimmers and edger trimmers manufactured by Weed Eater and Craftsman.
This throttle assembly cable is manufactured by Craftsman, but also used by Poulan, to regulate the flow of fuel to certain small gasoline-powered engines. This assembly houses the throttle trigger that is used by almost a dozen different machines, including not only trimmers, but also pole saws and other small gasoline-powered tools. Apart from the cutting edges of the pole saws and trimmers, the parts of these devices that sees the most wear and tear, and is most likely to fail, are the throttle assemblies. Whether banged about because of proximity to the throttle trigger or simply because it's the only part protruding from the mid-body of the typical weed cutter, the throttle assembly housing and cable are susceptible to failure. Most often, failure of the cable is the result of one of the buds, attached at the ends to clasp securely, having broken off. In this case, the gasoline engine may start, but will not rev or only does so sporadically. Replacing the cable is a matter of removing the throttle housing and trigger as well as detaching the cable from the carburetor. When replacing the cable, be sure to use one like this, which is a genuine OEM replacement part, manufactured to replicate the specs of the original.
This is a starter pulley used in trimmers and pruners. The starter pulley protects and encloses the starter rope. It includes a metal screw that is used to keep the rope in place while inside of the pulley. If the pulley is damaged, becomes cracked, or is lost, it can cause a malfunction and the rope may jam inside of the tool. When this occurs, the part will need to be replaced.Removed the starter to inspect the pulley for damage. The pulley should be replaced if needed. To replace the starter pulley, pull out the starter rope and use a screwdriver to secure the pulley and recoil spring. Remove the rope and screwdriver before releasing tension on the spring by rotating it. Next, take out the original pulley and replace all the other components. This starter pulley is a genuine OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual part. The component is used with pole pruners and string trimmers manufactured by Craftsman, Poulan, Poulan Pro, and Weed Eater.
This OEMspark arrestor kit includes all the parts needed to replace the spark arrestor. The spark arrestor is a device that prevents the emission of hot exhaust, hot particles, and hot debris (that could be flammable) from being expelled from an internal combustion engine. The spark arrestor contains a screen that may become clogged through normal use. Common signs that the spark arrestor screen may be clogged are a lack of power during use, poor acceleration, and engine misfires. Carbon may build up on the screen, which causes these problems. The operator may be tempted to try cleaning the screen, but it is not recommended; the failed part needs to be replaced. This part is a genuine Husqvarna part and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and it is sold individually. It is used on other Husqvarna produced hedge trimmers, weed whackers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, snow throwers, power cutters, and leaf blowers manufactured by Craftsman, Poulan, Poulan Pro, Weedeater, AYP, Jonsered, McCulloch, and RedMax.
