Researched on net. Bought part. Learned how to remove oven door on YouTube Just four bolts to remove the old one. Disconnected old part from wires, connected new part. Bolted it down and replaced plenum and door. Saved $200+ by doing it myself. Read more
Replaced the display board and put in a new gasket to prevent the heat from escaping the oven and eventually "cooking" the display board. New parts worked perfectly and were easy to install, just had to keep track of a few screws and cables, nothing to it otherwise. Shipping was insanely fast- I ordered on a Friday afternoon, chose their standard shipping, and my parts were delivered the next day- Saturday morning- by 9am. My oven was working again by 10am. This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element. This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall. Read more
