I had concluded that the igniter was going bad and ordered a new one. I also watched the video on how to replace the ignitor. The video explained that after you removed all the screws to the burner assemblies, you needed to lift the range top and replace the ignitor. They did explain that there were clips holding the top down, but implied if you exerted enough force it would pop open. I tried several times, different ways and it would not release. Bought this griddle! U+I thought it was cast iron, like the existing graaaters, but it seems to be a non-stick aluminum product. I hope that the non-stick surface is durable. I'm sure it will not last as long as castiron, however! Read more

I used the parts ordered, minus the screw because it was not the right one, and replaced the burner. I just took the old parts off and put the new parts on. Super easy fix! Read more
