This is the second time I've ordered parts for an old Maytag Performa side-by-side. Both times, the price was better than other outlets I checked online, and delivery was prompt. We have been able to replace all the missing parts the last tenants broke. Read more
First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more
Easy to fix. Remove the back of the frig cover- remove the 2 retention clamps. Place new part attach the 2 region clamps and close the back. 20 minutes inclusive of vacuuming dust out of unit bottoms. Read more
