The ice dispenser door was not closing tightly. As a result, there was frost build up in the ice chute, which also was allowing ambient air and temperature into the freezer compartment. Upon further inspection, there was black “schmutz” on the ice door, and the rubber ice funnel and deflector parts were deteriorating. Got replacement parts. Support only held on by two screws. Read more
I did have to dig out the tiny old broken pieces of glass from the front rubber edging with a knife blade. I tried both a screwdriver and needle nose pliers, but they were shredding the edge. Then I just popped it on and laid the glass in the slots. Super easy! Read more
